The 'Tortured Poets Department' by Taylor Swift and its impact on the 'Eras Tour.'  

Taylor Swift performed in Paris on May 9 for the first time since releasing her 11th studio album, "The Tortured Poets Department," with a new setlist.  

The record-breaking "Eras Tour," which began March 17, 2023, in Arizona, has averaged three hours and 15 minutes each show.   

. The typical lineup included songs from all Swift albums excluding her 2006 debut.  

First Paris show of tour, Swift announced a new "era" for her latest album. 

The tour intro, with purple and pink fabric waving, has Swift singing her album names before starting her first song, "Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince."  

Several wardrobe changes were foreshadowed by a new black-and-white onscreen background, choral "The Tortured Poets Department" and orange and red bodysuit during the performance opening on May 9.  

Swift joked in an edited "Red" episode that the Paris audience made her desire "all kinds of fun surprises."
