Mango bingsu is a delightful Korean delicacy made with sweet and milky shaved ice, fresh mango chunks, mango puree, and a dollop of vanilla ice cream.

This delicious and refreshing dessert is ideal for beating the summer heat and may be prepared with or without an ice shaver.

My favourite summer dessert is bingsu, whether it's the delicious strawberry bingsu or the traditional patbingsu with Korean sweet red beans (팥).

Sometimes I'd get a midnight yearning for it and go to the convenience store to acquire the basic Lotte frozen patbingsu in a pot.

Summer in Korea is frequently hot and humid due to the monsoon, so people eat a lot of refreshing foods such mul naengmyeon (Korean cold noodles) and

bibim naengmyeon (spicy Korean cold noodles), as well as iced lattes. Bingsu is especially popular as a dessert during the summer.

To be honest, I'm one of those persons that enjoys ice cream even in the winter. Although bingsu is more difficult to find during the winter months, several businesses still serve it.
