John Wick 5 was technically confirmed in May 2023, but over a year later, we still don't know whether it will happen.
Chad Stahelski, the director of all four John Wick films to date, stated in July 2023 that he had no idea a fifth film would be made.
However, as he told Inverse in October 2023, he is not opposed to the notion as long as it is not a "cash grab
"I have notebooks upon notebooks of trash behind me: John Wicks 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. We've got ideas for days. "We simply don't have the story locked," Stahelski added.
Given how John Wick: Chapter 4 concluded, it's hardly surprising that we may not see a fifth film.
. For the time being, let's hope Stahelski comes up with something, because we're not quite ready to say goodbye to John Wick.
