Classic Gluten-Free Waffle

Ingredients: – 1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour – 2 tablespoons granulated sugar – 1 tablespoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon salt

– 2 large egg – 1 1/2 cups milk (dairy or non-dairy) – 1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten-free all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil or melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can result in tough waffles.

Lightly grease the preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or brush it with melted butter to prevent the waffles from sticking.

Pour enough batter onto the center of the waffle iron to cover about two-thirds of the surface area. Use a spatula to spread the batter evenly, if necessary.

Close the lid of the waffle iron and cook the waffles according to the manufacturer's instructions, or until they are golden brown and crisp on the outside.
