Jamie and Claire Fraser first appeared on viewers' televisions ten years ago, gaining many hearts with their heart-wrenching love story of joy, heartbreak, and tragedy.
However, all good things must come to an end, and the upcoming season of Outlander will be the last.
Cast and crew are now filming the eighth and final season of the fantasy drama in Scotland, and Claire Fraser star Caitriona Balfe has opened out about their feelings behind the scenes.
Caitriona told VIP Magazine on the IFTA red carpet: "It's surreal to be at the end of filming with five months to go.
"We completed our first read-through approximately a month ago. We all got worked up since we've been together for over a decade and, for better or worse, we're like a family. We all grew up together on that show. We will be really sad to say goodbye to it."
And, while fans are keen to hear how the show will finish, Caitriona confesses that the facts are being kept under wraps, even from those on set.
"I don't even know what's happening in the end, they're keeping it very top secret." She went on to say.
"What we do know is that you can never please everyone, so we can only hope that they [the writers] create what they feel to be the best version and that people aren't upset.

"There will be a holiday, for sure! I'll get right on a plane to somewhere with a beach and a drink in my hand." "But they're going to get a prequel so the audience will forget about us very quickly." She goes on to say.
